Samuel lebt in Südfrankreich und genießt sein Single-Leben in vollen Zügen. Jeden Tag Sonne, Strand und Spaß - und bloß keine Verpflichtungen, bitte! Eines Tages jedoch taucht Kristin bei ihm auf, eine verflossene Liebschaft, mit einer süßen Überraschung im Arm: Gloria, seine Tochter, von deren Existenz er bislang nichts wusste. Ehe Samuel sich versieht, ist Kristin auch schon wieder verschwunden, hat Gloria allerdings bei ihm zurückgelassen. Er soll sich allein um dieses Kind kümmern? No way! Panisch reist Samuel Kristin nach London hinterher, um sie zu suchen - aber ohne Erfolg. Acht Jahre später: Samuel und Gloria leben in London und sind längst unzertrennlich. Dank seiner Tochter ist Samuel erwachsen geworden und macht als Stuntman Karriere. Doch da taucht Kristin erneut auf und fordert ihr Kind zurück...
