Um einmal aus der durchgescripteten Filmwelt zu entkommen und mehr über sich selbst und das Leben zu lernen, erfüllte sich die 24-Jährige Schauspielerin Maria Ehrich Anfang 2018 einen großen Traum: Gemeinsam mit ihrem Freund Manuel Vering (28), Journalist und Filmemacher, ging sie auf große Reise. Dabei drehten sie Reportagen über Menschen, die etwas in der Welt bewegen wollen. Reisebegleiter wird später ein alter VW Käfer, mit dem sie 20.000 Kilometer durch Nordamerika fahren.
