Overview
„Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk” (Tedd a lelked a kezedre és járj) az én filmes válaszom a palesztinok elleni folyamatos mészárlásokra. Csoda történt, amikor rátaláltam Fatem Hassonára, akit egy palesztin barátom mutatott be nekem. Azóta kölcsönadta nekem a szemét, hogy lássam Gázát, ahol a háború dokumentálásával ellenállt, és én kapocs lettem közte és a világ többi része között, az ő „gázai börtönéből”, ahogy ő nevezte. Több mint 200 napig fenntartottuk ezt az életmentő vonalat. A kicserélt pixeldarabkákból és hangokból lett az a film, amit látunk. Fatem 2025. április 16-i meggyilkolása, amelyet egy izraeli támadás követett az otthona ellen, örökre megváltoztatja a jelentését.
