Overview
München, 1943. Miközben Európa-szerte Hitler gyilkos háborúja tombol, egy fiatalokból, főként egyetemistákból álló csoport a passzív ellenállást választja, mint a nácik és az embertelen háborújuk elleni harc egyetlen hatékony formáját. Megalakul a Fehér rózsa nevű ellenállási mozgalom, amely a Harmadik Birodalom bukásáért küzd. Sophie Scholl az egyetlen nő a csoportban - az ártatlan, fiatal lány elkötelezett, félelmet nem ismerő antifasisztává érik. 1943 február 18-án Sophie-t a bátyjával, Hansszal együtt elfogják és letartóztatják, miközben röplapokat osztogatnak az egyetemen. A következő néhány nap folyamán Sophie és Mohr, az őt kihallgató Gestapo-tiszt között heves lélektani párbaj alakul ki.
