Overview
Rebecca már két hónapja felesége a megbízható és kiszámítható életet élő történelemtanárnak, Raymondnak. Férje szereti, és biztonságot ad neki. Ám Rebecca nem tudja kiverni fejéből korábbi szeretőjét, a Heidelbergben élő Danielt, aki teljesen más, mint Raymond: határozottabb, férfiasabb, szenvedélyes. Egy nap hajnaltájt Rebecca felébred, lassan kikel ágyából alvó férje mellől, meztelen testére húzza szoros bőrruháját, felpattan csillogó, fekete motorjára, és élvezve annak mámorító sebességét, elszáguld Heidelberg irányába. Száguldása közben megelevenednek emlékezetében Daniellel való találkozásának eseményei, miért és hogyan választotta férjéül inkább Raymondot, a motor története, melyet Danieltől kapott annak idején szenvedélyes imádata jeléül, esküvői ajándékként...
