Ringkasan
Film yang kisahnya berfokus pada seorang bocah laki-laki bernama Arvin Russell ( Tom Holland) ini berlatar belakang Perang Dunia II dan Perang Vietnam. Tokoh utamanya, Arvin Russell (Tom Holland) tinggal di kota Knock Stiff, Ohio. Awalnya dia adalah anak laki-laki yang rajin beribadah, taat kepada kristus. Akan tetapi perangainya mulai berubah. Dia menjauh dari Tuhan sejak mendapatkan pistol dari ayahnya di hari ulang tahunnya. Sejak hari itu, dia mulai larut dan tenggelam dalam kegelapan.
