개요
카자흐스탄의 방송국에서 일하는 엉뚱한 리포터 ‘보랏’. 미국의 선진 문화를 배워 조국을 발전시키라는 카자흐스탄 정보부의 특명을 받고 미국 뉴욕으로 간다. 하지만 일은 뒷전. TV에 나온 파멜라 앤더슨을 보곤 첫눈에 사랑에 빠지고, 그녀와 결혼하겠단 일념으로 캘리포니아까지 긴 여행을 시작한다. 갖가지 에피소드를 겪으며 힘겹게 LA에 도착하지만 파멜라 앤더슨은 자신이 생각하던 순수한 여인상과는 거리가 멀었고… ‘보랏’은 과연 조국의 특명을 이룰 수 있을까?
