Overview
W pięciu etiudach połączonych zgrabną klamrą przeplatają się znane z horrorów konwencje i tematy – slasher w lesie, zombie na strychu, nawiedzone domy, kosmici, duchy i psychopaci, wszystko w długich ujęciach z ręki, od których Sokurow dostałby czkawki. Każda etiuda jest jednak zrealizowana z pomysłem, który wprowadza tak potrzebny powiew świeżości do mocno wyświechtanej już formuły found footage. Ekipie młodych, niezależnych twórców udało się znaleźć odpowiedni dystans wobec wykorzystywanych klisz, równowagę między straszeniem a czystą i bezpretensjonalną zabawą. Na okrasę zaś dodali smakowitą porcję retro-nostalgicznego uroku VHS, nośnika który, mimo że ponoć martwy, okazuje się tu zaskakująco żywotny (nie on jeden w tym filmie). (AFF)
