Overview
Долина Ла Дранг место је у Вијетнаму познато као „Долина смрти“. Битка која се тамо догодила једна је од најкрвавијих у америчкој историји. Године 1965. пуковник Хал Мор и његов одред који чини 400 људи, спустили су се у долину Ла Дранг. Опколило их је око 2000 северно-вијетнамских војника. Моров одред је био Први батаљон 7. коњичке дивизије - исте оне коју је предводио генерал Џорџ Кустер, стотинак година раније у борби против индијанаца - а као и у Кустеровом случају, иронија је настављена: уместо појачања, нашли су се у окружењу знатно надмоћнијег непријатеља.
