Özet
Mimar Walter Craig, şehrin dışında bir çiftlikte verilmekte olan bir partiye davetlidir. Çiftliğe vardığında daha önce bu eve geldiği hissine kapılır. Dahası partiye katılan insanların hepsine de kendisine tanıdık gözükmektedirler fakat hiçbiri Walter’la daha önce karşılaşmamıştır. Daha sonra Walter hepsine, onlarla daha önce tanıştığını ve sürekli tekrarlanan bir rüyanın içinde olduğunu söyler. Ona göre güzel ve sakin bir biçimde başlayan bu rüya, bir noktadan sonra korkutucu bir hal almaya ve içinde çıkamadığı bir kabus haline dönüşmektedir.
